Like its little brother, "Pierre plantée", you'll set off from Place Joseph Fauchier up Avenue de la Roche and climb the first hill to the top of Pierre plantée, soon to reach km 3 - 200 D+, where you'll have your first view of the Tourdeaux summit, as well as the lower Alpine peaks, Cousson, Pic de Couard, Barre des Dourbes, Cheval Blanc and more.
From here you'll switch to a fast, technical single-track descent with a few flat spots to reach the Aigrevin ravine (km 6 / 200 D-). Then it's off for a second climb along the banks of a stream on a single-track undergrowth to reach the Mollières plateau, where you'll be looking forward to a fine descent and some good performances before finally arriving at the first feed station (km 8.5 / 400 D+). Take the opportunity to admire the Chapelle Saint Donnat, a Montfort heritage site dating back to 1050.
After refuelling, you'll get your feet wet as you cross the river Thoron one after the other, before a fine climb to km 12 (550 D+), where a time check will be carried out at the liquid refreshment point.
After a short climb and a few restarts on single-track paths in the undergrowth, you'll be on the "Job" trail before you reach the 2nd feed station at km 14.6 (650 D+), just at the foot of your long final climb (3 km / 300 D+) to the Tourdeaux summit, where the 360° panorama will soon make you forget your pain and fatigue.
After contemplating the beautiful scenery, you'll tackle a 5km descent (450 D+) with a few technical sections before finishing on the gau field path with its view over the village, where you'll start to hear the fervour of the announcer and the spectators waiting for you at the finish line in Place Joseph Fauchier!
