You'll set off from Place Joseph Fauchier up the Avenue de la Roche for 700m before taking the first path, the first climb, which will take you to the top of the "Pierre plantée", another 200m to reach the highest point of the course at km 3 and 200 D+. From here you'll take a balcony path down to a technical descent of around 800m, with panoramic views of the peaks of Tourdeaux, Lure, la Baume, les Monges, le Cousson, le Pic de Couard, la barre des Dourbes, le Cheval blanc and more.
Then a short resting place to take a breather, followed by a short climb to reach the ravito at km 4.8. There's another 180 D+ over 3km on single-track paths through undergrowth to reach the "Job" trail, from where you'll get your stopwatches warmed up for the fast final 2km descent to the finish arch at Place Joseph Fauchier!
